We built halals app as we could not find an easy solution to find halal dietary options when on the run. Most of the Google search results did not have proper information and the available apps in the market are either not working or are of way below quality.
We started working on the halals app project from 2021 and released our first version to the public on Jan 2024.

halals app exists because we are frustrated about finding halal food options when we are on the run.
We decided that an app might help solve this problem by providing users all relevant information of halal food options nearby by utilising the location feature that is available on all modern mobile devices. Plus, who does not like a well designed mobile app on their homescreen?
And we also do not want to do this as just a listing app. We want the whole community to actively participate and engage in making sure that the information stays up to date.
We believe that everyone in the community should be able to find halal options easily regardless of borders. halals app is here to help.
